Yes, unfortunately, the production app server is on a private network and hence no update center access. Using the Oracle Glassfish distribution in order to deploy a local update center is also not an option hence why it would be useful to know the manual deployment steps. That's ok though, what I will do is set up two 3.1 installs on the same system and run update center on 1 to update Jersey and then diff the dirs to determine the change set for manual deployment.

Yes, I had downloaded the JTF distro from the java.net site so I have that along with the Jersey GF distro. I was unable to grep this particular dependency in any of those jars which surprised me.
