Thanks for the link. But I even gave a reference to the same document in my
original post.

The problem is that we are only allowed to deploy our apps (WARs, EARs) on
the customer's GF server.
And the mentioned Jersey's guide requires also customization of JVM
parameters (e.g. by means of the admin gui or asadmin), which is prohibited
by the customer in our case.
