Well, us *former* Sun guys (left at the beginning of December) have
been free to talk for quite a while, albeit without being in on any of
the internal discussions :-).

As I bemoaned in a Facebook posting today, the garish Oracle "O" on a
red background is now the favicon on all the Sun sites too. Looking
at what they've done so far, it's pretty obvious that they just
attacked the low hanging fruit (s/Sun Logo/Oracle/Logo/g). Over time,
though, good luck with "advising" Oracle on web design -- I would
expect all of the former Sun website properties to look like OTN
(complete with red headers) before long.

Get used to it ... Oracle is not developer-focused the same way that
Sun was. Their messaging is all directed to people who will pay them
for stuff. On the other hand, they are still around and Sun isn't,
which I guess tells us something about listening to developers and
forgetting about monetizing anything ...
