As far as the Sun tools.jar; it doesn't get distributed via maven due to
licensing issues. You have to provide access to it locally (install it to
your local repo)... If the Mac version doesn't have tools.jar, that could
be a problem.


As far as using the plugin, this is how I am currently using it:
