JAXB RI 2.x can still behave like JAXB RI 1.0.x --- in fact it bundles
the whole XJC 1.0.x just for the sake of doing this. You can also run
JAXB 1.0.x code on the JAXB RI 2.x runtime.
But you are right that they produce a very different bindings.
