Yes, it does. Since you didn't give us the whole thing, I made a similar
schema out of your example, which I attached to this e-mail. I tried
this against both the current workspace and JWSDP1.2, and it seems to be
working fine.

If you could send me the whole schema + instance, I'm happy to run it
through the test.

Which version of the RI are you using?
