I am surprised that no one has responded to this posting of mine. Is this
situation extraordinary ? If anyone knows of a solution to this or knows
when a solution can be expected please let me know.
Thanks

Let me briefly explain my situation. I am implementing a framework that
strives to stay agnostic to the application domain object. One of the tasks
of the framework is to do a roundtrip conversion XML to Java and then back
from Java to XML. The XML schema as well as the XML instance documents have
namespaces in them. I would like JAXB (or the workaround kit) to preserve
the namespace at the end of the round-trip. I do not want my framework code
to specify the namespace because it cannot, it is agnostic to the
application objects. Your workaround kit asks me to specify the namespace.
I would like your workaround kit to extract the namespace either from the
schema or the instance document.

Search the archive with "[ANN]". You'll find a workaround kit that I
posted in this list some time ago.

Let us know if that doesn't address your problem.
