This indeed looks like a bug. I tried to reproduce the problem, but in
my environment it works fine.

I hope that the problem has been fixed since the beta release, but to
verify that, I'd appreciate if you send me the code generated by XJC. It
should give me enough information to see if the problem is fixed or not.
