I committed the changes that we discussed regarding artifactIds and
such. I've tested the build and everything's pretty smooth. If I get
some good feedback from everybody, I'd like to go ahead and merge the
branch into the trunk.

Also, I wrote up a little thing about what we discussed and what the
outcome was.
