The idea of adding new methods to FilterContext to manage future
extensions works because an assumption can be made and 'enforced' via
the documentation that FilterContext is only implemented by JAX-RS
implementations.
IMHO the same strategy needs to be applied to managing all other context
interfaces: Request, HttpHeaders, UriInfo, SecurityContext
