Hello Experts,

 The results of the instant runoff web poll on caching are back [1]. There were 7 votes, and the option that you selected was "Deferred for a future release".

 After some careful consideration, and given that there are multiple opinions on how to address caching, Marek and I have decided to honor the poll results and defer caching for a future release of JAX-RS.

 Note that the interceptor proposal under review will enable implementations to easily support caching, both on the client and on the server.
