To the best of my knowledge Manfred is not really working on MVC either,
but it's a question he can best answer himself.

That's indeed one of the few commits that went in since m04.

But since you are already running milestones, isn't it just as easy for you
to just grab a snapshot build? For an m05 release we may have to ask Zhijun
who can do releases as well.
