I am able to view issues if I do the following:
1. Visit the JIRA issue URL, which informs me that I am not logged in
2. Click on the login link (which takes me to a java.net page that indicates that I am logged in already)
3. Click on the logout link
4. Login again at java.net
5. Visit the JIRA issue URL again
