Ed/All,

Thanks a lot for the update.
2 weeks ago, that was pretty much around DevoXX. Made many of us travel and
I had almost half a dozen talks around Central Europe since then. Beside a
day job at client's;-)
Otherwise Nürnberg would not have been so far. Glad another Werner made
it:-)

Cheers,
Werner

Hello Experts,

You may notice that this list has gone very quiet since April, as you
can see from this copy/paste from the list archive [1], where the numbers
indicate the number of mails sent to the list in that month:

Apr 53 May 35 Jun 41 Jul 43 Aug 28 Sep 12 Oct 17 Nov 7 Dec 4

Let me assure there is no other mailing list where things are decided in
private and committed to the spec without discussion. It really is just
a matter of not much traffic on the list, which is a function of me
having other deliverables that take time away from moving the spec
forward. We have recently made some adjustments to address that issue
that I'll be announcing in the next couple weeks.

That said, I have been making slow but steady progress on the spec and
implementation. I just presented JSF 2.2 status at DOAG in Nürnberg two
weeks ago, Werner Punz even made the trip up there to see me present,
thanks Werner.

I just uploaded the slides to slideshare, and tweeted about it. [2]

So, I apologize for the slowness, but it's just that and not a return to
non-transparent development.
