Ed,

Great to see some movement starting to occur, once again. Thanks for
including my blog post in your email, I hope that it did have an impact in
showing the overall slowdown in progress for Java EE 8. As always, I
definitely appreciate all you and the others have done for moving JSF
forward throughout the years and making it such a great framework.

I have not contributed a lot unfortunately due to time limitations, but I
have updated a couple of spec issues. Kudos goes to all of the hard work
that Arjan, Bauke, and others have put into making progress on JSF 2.3.
The release is really coming along thanks to all of their time and efforts.
