Hi Martijn, Antonio, all,
Please see the recent announcement on jdk9-dev,
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/jdk9-dev/2014-December/001670.html.
The JEP for lightweight JSON is being withdrawn from JDK 9.
As our planned JSON-P 1.1 API evolves we will be tracking any
developments in the future SE space with a view towards alignment.
I hope that you will support the new JSON-P JSR and, should you have
concerns about the evolution of JSON-P, hope that you will get
involved in its expert group.
regards,
-Linda
