We're doing Maintenance Releases of a few specs in order to update the schema
namespaces. This is necessary when the spec defines a schema that is included
in another Java EE schema. Note however that some specs that define schemas
*won't* be updated; we're only doing the updates where necessary. Linda has the
full list, but I don't believe JAX-WS needed to be updated, whereas JSR-109 did
need to be updated.
You'll see Maintenance Reviews for Java EE specs appearing starting now and over
the next few weeks. Some are being updated for this reason and most for other
reasons.
