The other items look like they may not be in scope for Java EE 8/JSR 375,
at least based on KK's JavaOne presentation.
Are we (Will, probably helped by Alex and others in the EG) still in the
position to submit an EDR now?

Ballot 2 scheduled at the end of this month.
Maybe that happens automatically unless the PMO hears from a Spec Lead
about an EDR first, or was it coordinated with the PMO?
