Hi Jeanfrancois,
I don't use cometd at all, rather I have that OortCloud project where I just use Comet and manage/broker intercommunication through a custom session. I know I said I would publish it months ago, but I just never have time to get it ready documentation-wise and the code is.... well it's a little over engineered :) . It grew layer ontop of layer of abstraction, as so many Java APIs do and would take as much time to re-factor as it would to properly document. So Im starting a refactor and rolling out an embeded version ( hopefully this week ) and then a module for GlassFish 2 in the following weeks
So for just using Comet. we have a good solution with 1.9.3? The major factors that excite me enough to upgrade are when the following have bugfixes or improved proformance.
1. webserver stability
2. Comet stability
3. performance / reduction in resource consumption
if I use (and I am right now) 1.9.3 comet-webserver I should not be at all effected by the changes in the upcomming releases? I presume that you are referring to only Cometd as the focus now?

Salut,
we have finally stabilized cometd and now waiting for feedback. I would like wait a couple of days before we release 1.9.5 and would like us to fix:

Please add 1.9.5 to the millestone field if you think you have an issue you would like to see fixed. **Anybody** is welcome to help and provide patches :-)
Thanks
