As mentioned by Ryan when he closed the bug, spec changes require going
through a fairly large committee of people that includes Mojarra,
Myfaces, ICEFaces and more - we can't change specified behavior without
their permission.

P.S. I'd like that feature too - but I'm not sure how it would work for
composite components that consist of a lot of other components - and you
can get the same functionality by adding it to the interface and
specifying where it would come into play. Most of the composite
components I've written have at least 5 sub components with 2-3 levels
of nesting, and I haven't been doing terribly complex things.
