This works ( a reboot is not sufficient or needed, use ldconfig ) How to Set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH for the System # cd /etc/ld.so.conf.d # echo
/usr/local/mylibs > mylibs.conf # ldconfig I apologize for the added noise.
