 Have you tried with this distribution for aix
platform?  http://download.java.net/glassfish/3.1.2/release/glassfish-3.1.2-aix.zip?
As Shingwai pointed outThe com.sun.web.security.RealmAdapter has a reference
to sun.* classes. This has been fixed in the aix distribution .
