Looking for info on proxying GlassFish with Apache?

Hi,

Now that I have a GlassFish instance working, I've been looking into proxying
(front-ending) GlassFish with Apache.

I only have a simple webapp on GlassFish so far, but I've tried doing the
proxying using both mod_proxy and the WebLogic Plugin for Apache, and both of
them seem to work, at least for the simple single Apache+single GlassFish
instances that I have.

I've seen that there's a way to also possibly use mod_jk or mod_agp.

So, I was wondering, is there a kind of standard way or "best practice" way
to proxy GlassFish using Apache?  How do you all do it (if you do proxying),
and what are the pros vs. cons of the various approaches:

- mod_proxy

- WebLogic Plugin for Apache

- mod_jk/mod_agp

Also, which, if any of these are "officially" supported (and by whom)?

I'd especially be interested in what the status of the WebLogic Plugin for
Apache with respect to GlassFish, as we also have a lot of systems that use
Apache+WebLogic Plugin for Apache+WebLogic, so we have some experience with
that plugin in our group.

Thanks,

Jim
