Default Web Module

I would like my web application to be the one that is called for any URL
entered in a browser for my machine/port. I am using https protocol. I
thought that setting Default Web Module would cause Glassfish to call my web
app for any mismatch. This happens only after initial deployment, the first
time Glassfish starts up. Subsequent startups and things work as expected.
The workaround I am using now is to have my application set the default
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /*
Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal";
mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes;
mso-style-priority:99; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:"";
mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in;
mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan;
font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;
mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";
mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast; mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri;
mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";
mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;}
server.http-service.virtual-server.server.default-web-module when it starts.
I can check before setting this attribute and it has the correct value (as
read from domain.xml). Does this have something to do with the unpacking of
the war at first startup and not having it available in the 'generated'
directory at the point the server is looking for the default? All suggestions
welcome.
