Thanks for the reply and input. It seems that we have actually been able
to control the problem by managing the number of messages being produced to
the queue, limiting the number by the use of a counter. This seems to be
working well, but it the problem does re-introduce itself I will get a thread
dump and repost this issue. So far so good as we have yet to reproduce the
processing hang.
