Hi All,
I'm just starting with GlassFish. I'm trying to run GlassFish v3.1.1 as a
Windows service, using "asadmin create-service" on Windows Server 2003 32 bit
with JDK1.7.0_01.
The command create-service failed:
Error while trying to install GlassFish as a Windows Service. The return
value was: -1. STDERR: STDOUT: System.Management.ManagementException:
Initialization failure at
System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStat us
errorCode) at System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o) at
System.Management.ManagementScope.Initialize() at
System.Management.ManagementScope.Connect() at WMI.WmiRoot..ctor(String
machineName) at WMI.WmiRoot..ctor() at winsw.WrapperService.Run(String[]
args) at winsw.WrapperService.Main(String[] args) Command create-service
failed.
In C:\glassfish3\glassfish\domains\domain1\bin 2 files do get created, but no
service is added:
- domain1Service.exe
- domain1Service.xml
Does anyone have any hints/tips or maybe even a solution for this problem?
