I am pretty sure that you cannot depend on the assumption that appPath will
be the same across various servers and the like.
That said, can you describe why you are trying to get this path? If you are
trying to access files that are part of the server implementation and/or the
domain implementation there may be APIs that will let you do that. If you
are trying to access files that you have placed on the server (by deployment
and the like), there are probably different APIs that you could leverage. A
bit more info from you would make it easier to point you in the right
direction.
