Glad you worked through this. To close the loop for future reference:
I should have told you to run "bin/pkg publisher -a" which would have shown
the disabled repository and you would have had the "aha moment" a bit sooner.
To enable a disabled repository using the CLI: bin/pkg set-publisher -e
release.javaeesdk.oracle.com
I'll follow-up internally to see if this is a documentation bug or a
distribution bug.
