For v3, the out-of-box behavior is no password required for admin user.
If you want authentication to be enforced, you can easily add a password to
the admin user.
To do that, go to Domain -> Administrator Password tab. This will
allow you to add a password to the current admin user.
Once you add a password, you will notice the "Logout" button on the upper
right header, and from then on, once you logout, you are required to
login to the console.
