After shifting from glassfish 3.0.1 to 3.1, my application worked fine by
throwing customized status codes and error messages. Looks like this has been
fixed in the lastest glassfish version. Thanks for all the information you
have given. I hope not to have any surprises when I deploy my application in
weblogic/websphere app server.
