But did you try what Shreedhar suggested? Given the time delay in
communicating over a forum, I'll try to ask anything I'd ask you in one
email, and we'll sort this out. Can you go to your glassfish home directory
(/something/something/glassfish3/glassfish) and do the following? Please
copy/paste the commands and their output:
> echo $JAVA_HOME
> $JAVA_HOME/bin/java -version
> which java
> java -version
> pwd
> ls
> ls domains
> env | grep HOME
> bin/asadmin version
> ./bin/asadmin version
> ./bin/asadmin start-domain --verbose &
