We had a bug in 2.x where some transactions were not cleaned up from the
monitoring table, but our tests were fine in 3.x. You found the code
correctly. But there is a slight chance that GUI displays all data instead of
a refresh... Can you check if you see the same problem using CLI, vs. GUI?
