I should mention that we have two virtual servers in GlassFish. The default
one for Internet facing web apps (the one that got the error), and a second
one for internal web apps (they kept working).
I wonder if the problem is related to this:

It is just strange that the application ran fine for days, then this problem
started out of the blue.
