This one seems to be right out of Twilight Zone :-(
Based on your output, JAVA_HOME value is correctly passed to installer
wrapper script, verified as valid several times and then the variable content
magically dissapears during the final verification. I'll try to setup the
environment that is as close to yours as possible - if I manage to reproduce
it I can at least poke around the script and hopefully provide a
workaround...
