OK, the service never stopped; the related Java process sits there at 50%
chewing CPU doing nothing. I manually killed the Java process. I'll file
a bug for this.
Deleted the contents of the Felix cache.
net start domain1...service comes up fine.
CPU is normal.
Regular hit to the default index page responds nice and snappy.
Downloaded a fresh copy of Hudson.
asadmin deploy \path\to\hudson.war...
CPU spiking...
No indication in the log of anything happening...
Minutes pass...asadmin just hanging out...
No error, no nothing...CPU at 50%, memory increasing slowly and steadily...
Is there a port I need to open up to do this? I already added a firewall
rule for 8686, which made no difference.
Best,
Laird
