Before you log it as a bug, can you repeat the test case which demonstrated the NullPointerException: shutdown the server, delete the server log *and* the broker log (which is in the imq directory under the domain directory), start the server, and then deploy your application that triggers the NPE.
Then please post both the server log and the broker log.
