The EarLibClassLoader which loads the ear lib libraries is the parent classloader of the connector classloader, so the resource adapter should be able to access the ear libraries, not sure why it could not in your case. I have assigned the issue 13111 to Jagadish which works in the resource adapter area, with a reproducible test case, we should be able to get to the bottom of this.
