I figured it could be GUI so went the route of asadmin
./asadmin configure-ldap-for-admin --basedn "ou=Groups,ou=Administration,ou=applications,dc=xxx,dc=com " --url ldap://xxxdld01.stc.star:389 --ldap-group SuperUserGroup
after this it says succesfuly configured
but the id i am using then to login to the admin console fails which is a part of Groups
with Authentication Failed error
Any suggestions ?
