we have a mod_proxy_balancer configuration in front of our glassfish cluster.
Last week we tried, to enable https on the load balancer. This first works fine.
But when the webapp sends a redirect (e.g. when the user is not logged in -> redirect to login page) the browser is redirected to the http port.
I've read, that the glassfish load balancer plugin has an option for https-routing.
But we can't use this plugin, because we don't get it working using debian lenny (perhaps somebody has a howto for debian + glassfish load balancer plugin).
Is there a way to solve this issue using mod_proxy_balancer?
