mhm... I actually meant instantiated, thanks for the clarification.

Current quercus has a bug, that throws an exception when undeploying an app
where the servlet was loaded, resulting in an endless loop. So that's
still an issue,
probably even more when defining it in the default-web.xml as the servlet now
gets loaded by all web-apps and gets unloaded with every small app redeployment
which will lead to the bug, meaning the first undeployment of any app
will lead to
the bug which then requires a server restart.

So, now even more pressure on caucho to fix this bug:
