Hi,
It is very simple, you can download the nightly build GFv3.1 from here:
https://glassfish.dev.java.net/public/downloadsindex.html#top
After you downloaded the latest-glassfish.zip and unzip it where you want.
In NetBeans you must stopped the old GFv3.0 if it started and simpli add the GFv3.1 as a new server.
