This approach sounds strange...
Won't all running transactions fail because all open EMs will be closed at add/remove bundle pont if each each bundle add/remove results in recreation of the EMF? It's Hibernate, so the EMF-wide caching is not on by default, but if it's on, the cache content also will be lost. Right?
