Hi,

Some time ago, I tried to use the new EL on glassfish 2, without too much luck: http://forums.java.net/jive/message.jspa?messageID=388358

I could solve it by taking el-api.jar from http://download.java.net/maven/glassfish/javax/el/el-api/ (latest version seems to be 2.1.2-b03). But, as mentioned on previous post, it still didn't work.

I had to take el-impl.jar from a glassfish 3 install. It now works.

Still, I'd like to know where this el-impl.jar really comes from.

There seems to be a 'uel' project on java.net... but it's staying behind :-(

There seems to be a 2.2 tag in preparation on subversion, which was updated 10 hours ago. But I can't find any information as changelog, roadmap, ...

Any information welcome.
