I have seen several glassfish performance tuning guides / blogs that recommend disabling application reloading and auto deployment in production. Does anybody have data on the percentage gain from doing so?
Dynamic reloading is quite nice, since the app is otherwise unavailable for a short period of time while a new codebase is deployed. Ergo, if the performance hit isn't that bad, it would be nice to utilize.
