Moving to "3" new servers? Why? There can be at the most one incarnations of a running DAS.
Tell you what, if you just move around the DAS and restart, everything should be ok. Node-agents
have a built-in knowledge to update their knowledge of DAS's location and they will reconcile.
So, here is the procedure:
- Stop the current DAS.
- Back its configuration up.
- Unzip the zipfile on another machine, preferably on same GlassFish version installation with paths being the same (paths can be different, but just to be on safer side, have the same paths, e.g. /opt/glassfish/domains/domain1 etc. on both machines).
- Restart the DAS on new machine.
- Observe if node-agents reconcile.
