In http://blogs.sun.com/dochez/entry/glassfish_v3_extensions_part_3, this approach is used so I thought that perhaps a proxy was used to hide the dynamic details (ala Spring DM) but if the reference I get with @Resource cannot be updated, whats the point of this approach?
