See my 'ls -l' below. I installed Sun Java 1.6.0_16 on August 15.
Previously, I would have been on _14 or _15. I do not recall if the _16
upgrade was when the failure started or not - but it is a standard _16
install, and Eclipse and NetBeans do not have any problem with it?
