The configuration (domain1.xml) to previous working version (2009-09-16) looks the same.
I just unzipped the lastest_glassfish.zip (on WinXP with Java 1.6.0_16),
started the domain via startserv.bat and tried to connect to the admin-console on localhost:4848).
Loginfo here (something wrong in the /../ in the zipfile-path):
