I attended the webinar yesterday on Rails and GlassFish. I am very
interested in using the NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 tailored for Ruby/Rails
development using GlassFish in lieu of Webrick and Mongrel. We already
have development, test, and production servers running Solaris 10.

 

I am trying to build a case for using the platform for a new internal
facing web application. Management is wavering in their willingness to
approve this OSS solution since they are much more familiar with Java
and .NET solutions.

 

Are there any white papers, links to heavy hitting information that
would be helpful in gaining the approval of management?
