This is explained pretty clearly in the FAQ, which you would have found with even a desultory search, since it's the very first hit for "glassfish standalone client".
Every problem I've seen with it has been due to people's inability to setup their jndi connection properly.
Other than that, we can't help you if you don't actually tell us what your problem is.
